Provided is the use of a nucleobase oligomer comprising the sequence of 5'- UGCACCCTGGATACCAUUU-3' (SEQ ID NO: 151) in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of cancer to be administered in combination with a chemotherapeutic agent selected from the imatinib, ZD1839, vinblastine, vincristine, vindesine, vinflunine, anhydrovinblastine, docetaxel, idarubicin, an antimetabolite carboplatin, and satraplatin.
